Unser heutiger Ausflug führt uns auf die Bonaviste Penisula und wir steuern zu erst auf Trinity zu. Dieser Ort hat gerade mal 300 Einwohner und ist trozdem sehr bekannt, weil das kleine Fischerdorf einfach süß ist. Terra Nova - Pothead Whale
We were driving across a bridge from Philly's Island to Robert's Arm when we both looked out into the water spotted this pothead whale feeding on herring. He couldn't have been more that 50' away. We watched for about an hour. It was really spectacular.

Another very cold but incredibly clear night with a mass of stars so dense it was almost solid. We begin to feel it may be time to leave Newfoundland and let the winter settle in behind us. We are beginning to see the colors of fall and suspect the icy mornings are not far behind.
