        So an easy start as we had until 4pm when we could collect the visas. So breakfast easy toast and a coffee, Louise had decided on popcorn chicken with some noodles and some ice cold orange juice very nice. The massages we booked for 11:30 so we had some time to kill and my hair was getting long so we walked down to the local streets and found a barber, they looked at me a little strange but got the idea that I needed a hair cut and shave so he quickly got me into the chair towel ...

        ... was a plane to Phnom Penh. This offered a short commute via familiar means, followed by a streamlined visa process. Naturally, the three of us had deemed this possibility too boring, opting instead to wake up at 4:45 and spend most of the day traveling by train, tuk-tuk, and whatever we could find to get us from Poipet (a Cambodian border town) to our destination of Siem Riep.
