We woke very early so that we could plan our day ahead. We headed then out after breakfast looking for accommodation and tour operators. We asked lots of places, but they were so expensive because of the end of Ramadan celebrations. On the way back to the hotel we stumbled across a tour operator who was very helpful and cheap, it restored our hope! At the start of the day, we planned to do Merapi volcano and Borobudur. Train ride of 8 hours from jakarta to jogjakarta was nice scenery. Rice fields everywhere. Seems all space used by agriculture or residential JogjakartaTypical backpackers town. Wow! What a great place to spend my last few days in Indonesia! I started off a bit rocky with Yogyakarta. I was dropped off in the middle of a random street at 11:00 PM (it was very dark out). With no place to stay, and being exhausted, I took the first place I found. $6 Canadian for my very own room!
