    ... decided!   Ramona has also recommended a small Thai restaurant, Jai Thai, 27 Purvis Street, near the Raffles Hotel and for clay pot rice, a local dish, Geylang Clay Pot Rice, Lorong, Geyland. I put these recommendations in just incase some of our wandering friends are destined for Singapore....local suggestions are always the best. Isn't it amazing that Ramona didn't put shopping on her list since I do gather from Wayne it comes a close ...

    ... a ship. Things like fire alarms and what to do in emergency etc. Our group is about 70 people and it has been great to get to know them in a smaller setting. We are known as the Pasir Gudang PST ( Pre-ship training ). We have also been given a ship " family" as well which you can read more about in our newsletter. Hope you enjoy the photos.

    Christine spent the day at the Jurong Bird Park with the little man today. This allowed me to get some hiking practice in. I googled hiking in Singapore and found out about the reservoir. It turned out to be a hot spot for hikers, runners and kayakers. Within minutes one is engulfed in a lush rain forest.
