Today we left Poughkeepsie for Philadelphia, via Milford, a historic town and in which the cemetery of which my Great, Great.....Grandfather General Daniel Brodhead is buried. The town of Milford was absolutely beautiful, soemthing I did not expect, with a very French influence. Many french bakeries and beautiful old homes. A visit to the old bookshop was rewarding as we found more books for our Nicholas and then on to the cemetery. ...

like a very unproductive day and we've had a few of those recently but
we're making progress towards where we actually want to go see things
so one step at a time and rest days are always good scattered in with

... say do it and don't look back! It's made me believe that anything I put my mind to is possible, you just have to believe it. (that was so cheesy)

I can't wait to keep on traveling. I want to do more of Asia but also South America, Europe, North America. This was just the first chapter of many in my book called Dear Bev.

... all the faucets, shower, and yes - even the first time John used the toilet. First time we made ice cubes in the freezer, first time we dumped the gray and black water tanks. But most importantly, it was the first night we slept in our bed, now we can truly call this rig our "home". Although we quickly realized we need better blinds! ... to leave our packs at the ranger station. We headed back into P.A., back to the diner, then to the bake shop, then to the Trolley station to relax :) We eventually left town around 3pm. Crossed back over into N.J., and 5 hours later......we made it back to mile 1.3 for the day, so far! Hanging around the visitor center with the rangers, great people! We finally said our good byes around 5, and finally started to really hike. Out across the road.....pass a ton of ...
