Tamarindo Beach Tamarindo, Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica, 506, (506)-2653-0032---2653-0031
... as not to miss our opportunity in the sun- you never know when it´s going to start raining down here, it literally comes out of nowhere. So we spent the day lounging in the sun, reading and swimming, it was perfect and just what we had to come to Tamarindo to accomplish. Since it was Josh´s last night, we decided to splurge and go out for dinner as an Asian fusion place right down the road. Farrah and I were SO excited because we got to FINALLY eat sushi!!! It was the most tasty ...
Tamarindo, Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica jeridolp... back at tamarindo she would play line up mind games calling me off waves or cutting me off, she was like a hawaiian local..lol...just joking.<br>Well I paddled out and I was just freaking tired, and the waves were pretty big, my paddling totally sucked at this point, did I really need a picture that bad, even though Barney Blandy happened to get one after having the photographer all morning when I was at Picos...hmmm I caught a wave and Rafa happened to catch part of it ...
Tamarindo, Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica albert413... still not a lot of people here, last night it was a big crowded and lots of people in line up and bar. Kind of a slow wee, not a lot of people staying...stupid economy, its so amazing here, I can't believe its only Monday and its super early...not sure what Im going to do, probably get some reading in as its only 930 and already surfed and ate breakfast! Tamarindo, Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica albert413Hola! After a 5 hour flight and a 5+ hour bus ride, I am in Tamarindo on the Pacific coast. It is lovely, warm and sunny. Dirt\gravel roads so also quite dusty. I made my way to the beach this morning - think I am already a lil sunburnt. Watched the surfers, found my 1st sand dollar (yay!) and received my first stings from a jelly fish (boo!). I ...
Tamarindo, Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica adivine3... it has been very active. I wondered what they thought of tourist coming here and wanting to see a spectacular firework display We were living tommorrow, heading to San Jose the capital where we would part company. Dan was headed to South america and i was headed back to the caribbean coast looking for good weather. I would be in the capital for 2 days but no looking forward to it. Big cities are just harder to negioate. but we would see
La Fortuna, Costa Rica pjcrusIt was an awesome drive, better than taking the bus. The beach is long and the waves are big. I don't want to say where the beach is because I don't want it to change. It is very quiet and I don't want people to build hotels and condominiums here like the other beaches ...
Guanacaste, Costa Rica travellerdalton... volcano 'hike' which was a three km wander through a reserve where animals might sometimes be seen I suppose were you there by yourself. The guy taking the walk was pretty good, but you can't salvage this kind of thing. We saw some Montezuma oropendulas fly overhead and a bright red summer tanager, and the silhouette of two toucans (which he claimed were probably brown mandibled toucans). Then we watched the volcanoe from the side of the road as ...
La Fortuna, Costa Rica mlc... morning. I am loving having lots of time to read and chill out and just talking to random people, whether interesting, stupid or nice. I must say though that I have already realised how much I miss my friends in the Philippines and everywhere else and how I wish the surf crew was around to cheer when I get a nice wave (I got a really nice wave this morning and was sitting there, smiling and nearly laughing to myself from the stoke!!!) Miss you all and love you all,
Tamarindo, Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica lizardom... voi laskea kuntoiluksi.
Potrero, Costa Rica simonandsari... 2001 edition of the Lonely Planet!). Asking around town we were eventually directed to Pension Topas and set up camp in their gardens - in the midst of a howling gale. Returning from a good day's hike the next afternoon we were pleased to see that another overlander truck had arrived - Colin and Liz from UK, who had been travelling for two years. We joined forces for an excellent New Year's dinner at a local Peruvian restaurant, and stayed up swopping ...
