A great spot, and one of the few with a nice sand beach on the north shore

Jalen's 1st trip to Tahoe- Worst trip

Jalen's 1st trip to tahoe was horrible. We went through a timeshare offer and the resort was so bad we left 1 day early! We saw our presentation which was horrible experience and checked out early. The room was small, dingy and so outdated. No AC as well and it was hot. We went to the Lake which was nice and Jalen dipped his feet in for the 1st time. He wasn't a fan because it was too cold.

      • Nicest hotel and casino in Reno
      • I talked my way into getting the hotel room for $160 for 4 nights which is a great deal for the quality of the room and casino.
      • Gas Cost: $49.20

      HET Conferece, Day 3:

It's time to meet the mastermind of HET: Susan Kovalik! She is a very dynamic, engaging speaker. Listening to her would make any teacher feel inspired and motivated to be the best possible teacher. I loved her stories about teaching outside the box and how it led her to becoming a world famous author and trainer. She talked about the importance of immersing students in ...

... did eventually arrive to our hostel In the city of roncevalles. It was amazing. It could hold 200 people alone in one level. It was a remodeled monastery. We also had dinner in one of the three restaurants then we attended the pilgrims mass. The pilgrims mass was quite inspirational. Then of course early up to bed. Onto Zuburi tomorrow!
