On Tuesday the 4th December we flew to Udon Thani in North-East Thailand to do the motorcycling tour. Unfortunately as I only have passed my CBT and can only ride on L plates I can't ride over a 100cc over here so I went pillion on the back of mum's bike. ... ride. The three of us went to this awesome statue garden that had really big Buddhas and other sorts of Thai deities. My favorite statue was the giant Buddha with seven snakes rearing up behind him. The concrete statue was probably 500 feet tall, and the tongues of the snakes were twenty feet long. I felt moved to buy a little pewter statue replica of it half an inch tall. It's cute.
