... 5 different local restaurants that we never would have found on our own. We start with a delicious hummus topped with pastrami and some warm pita bread. The next stop was for soup and salad, and then came the most unique dish of the tour. We were served lamb liver and heart, BBQ'd on a skewer. This time you can't say "it tastes like chicken", because it doesn't. The liver has a strong gamey taste and the heart is better tasting, but ...

... only because the baths closed.

Got back to the hostel and had a Pad Thai at a local takeaway before showering off (must have looked a sight on the Metro coming back in all our damp clothes with our swimming costumes on underneath) before trying to handwash a few things to get the smell of chlorine out of them. Interflat Hostel is ok - not as great as the hostel in Prague but it serves its purpose. We're all looking forward to exploring more of the city ...

... a growing itch we have had for Mexican food. The American version of Mexican food, in particular. We found a place called the Iguana Bar and Grill near the Parliament building that served as the perfect scratching post to satisfy our craving. Margaritas, chips, queso, refried beans, burritos, a taco, and an enchilada. Yup, we ate all of that. According to the menu, three expat Americans opened this restaurant after having similar cravings for the Tex-Mex food ...

... had sore feet and both of us were tired. We gave up and went back to the hotel where after a rest and sleep decided to give ourselves a nice meal. The Croatian restaurant was excellent. We had a whole fish (Sea Bass) and it was worth every one of the many pennies it cost. On reflection, Vienna was perhaps not a perfect choice-- certainly it wasn't consistent with the policy of new places and new things. Maybe this was our last trip although another policy is to never say ...
