    Crossing Crash Casualty

    ... cars went past with none slowing down. Then another five until eventually a gap and I was able to cross, but no thanks to drivers who gave me the right of way on the crossing.

    ... the fruit we were treated to a crostata (what we would call a jam tart) made with homemade pastry and apricot jam. And last was a taste of a liquor called Braulio, which comes from the nearby town of Bormio. Braulio is made from alcohol infused with a long list of alpine herbs.
