... are other little businesses to explore, and ginger flavoured ice creams to eat. We spent about 3 hours there, before moving on to our accommodation, La Mer Sun Apartments at Sunshine Beach.

The apartment was lovely, with views and sounds of the sea. We even saw whales in the distance, splashing about as they travel south down the coast.
Noosa, Queensland, Australia hughieanddoris... at the Noosa Food and Wine Festival, which was excellent. You have vouchers for wine tasting and for plates of food. They were all really good and they are quite happy for you to have a few tastings for free!! Ashley Manix was amazing...a bit like Katie Melua. Marsha Hynes was phenomenal....I even danced at the front of the stage!! :-0 Will definately go back to Noosa, as it makes me so happy to be there.
Noosa, Queensland, Australia badams... which is beautiful, and we spent a great day at their lovely home up in the hills. While we were there we: - we had a trip down the river to Noosa, with Chris and Mary, and then spent a lovely afternoon in the Surf Club overlooking Noosa Beach - went for a great walk in the National Park, looking for Koala bears although we were not in luck on the day we went - went to the main beach in Noosa, which was beautful and a great place for surfing - seemingly this is ...
Noosa, Queensland, Australia peacock49... and head up to Noosa Junction to check it out for tomorrow, its a killer hill on the bike. When I get there, im not that impressed, if I dont see another Billabong or Roxy shop I wont be sad! There wasnt many thrift shops, I wont bother going back during opening hours. This evening, all the girls are in the room and we watch a DVD of one of the girls sky dives, its hilarious and we have a nice chat and a laugh which is really great.

Bli Bli, Queensland, Australia katelin... the wetlands birds area then the emus section and after that it was off to the Rippa Red Territory which was the most interesting area. This included Australian Snakes, Birds of Prey, Koalas where we got to pat a Koala, Red Kangaroos, Rainforest Aviary and the Wombats. We also saw Tasmanian Devils, Dingoes, Echidnas. The most fun had to be getting up close to the Kangaroos and Koalas.

Noosa, Australia jento85Wow - what a bag of mixed emotions it was returning home! We felt we could have continued travelling for another 7 months, but there was definitely something very special about driving up our driveway into our very own tropical paradise and being home. It was also lovely meeting up with our beloved Holly (black labrador) and sleeping in our own beds again. After all we've witnessed, seen and done, it was a very comforting feeling to ...

Noosa, Australia al_fey... luxuries..... I ponder..... is James now running tired of the travelling circuit???? does he long once more for the life of a middle-class twenty-something professional... and all the adorning fruits of such accompanying labour.... God Yes. As wonderful as the east coast of Australia has been, the lovely towns and resorts and the fun people I've met and the fun things I've done, it is, as the end of the day, nothing more then spending a few ...
