... for new years.

Tomorrow the dive shop is closed so today was my last day for diving, booooo! lol. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. January 1st is my last full day here and then January 2nd I leave the Island at 5pm and start my trek home.

I'll write again before I leave. I might have some more fun adventures up my sleeve before I leave here :) I hope everyone has a fantastic night. Be safe and Happy New Years!

... rendition didn't exactly set the crowd on fire with enthusiasm (we sounded like two slightly tipsy British blokes getting on stage trying to sing - no idea why, although I think there was a problem with the microphones). Needless to say we left the stage, heads held high at our flying the flag (we finished our beer and left). ... for a pan fried dinner with a glass or two of Chilean wine. If not, it's along to the best restaurant in town - the rotisserie chicken joint. Always packed with locals, visitors and several of the most contented cats we have ever seen (even in the UK) this place seems to manage to dish up the most delicious meals at half the price of anywhere else and twice the joyful service. And most people here have big smiles on their faces. Is it any wonder?

... Guy I'm sharing the bunk with is named Joe, from California is 32 and took a career break to travel long term. Went to RJs and had a delicious $7 steak dinner, again. Met up with Gemma at 9pm at a bar. Said goodbyes to Clare and others. Met a guy named Peter who is also trying to get to Copan tomorrow. Meeting at the ferry at 6am tomorrow. 4 more hours! ...
