... in Texas arrived the day before we were leaving. The rain, along with the high tide, caused the surf to enter the campground. Luckily we were a little ways back, but some RV owners were looking a little worried. There had been a storm 2 weeks ago that caused major flooding here, so no wonder.

We have a car! And it's awesome. Two days ago, the Car Rental guy was very happy to be able to give our keys. While he said that the car was rather small, "Fiat-style", we realized he was speaking in American terms. The car is huge! Our destination? Wherever! Our arrival? Whenever! We would head for Charleston, South Carolina. The roads were wide, the traffic calm and we easily drove for 6 hours, ...

... We rode in a helicopter for about 5 min for 40$ each. It was a quick ride but a great experience. After that we headed back to barefoot landing to see the tigers from T.I.G.E.R.S preservations. people were taking pictures holding the tiger but that was 100$. We just decided to look at the cub tigers through the glass. That was a nice experience. They were very playful. ...

We loved this anchorage. Under-rated in the guide books. we swam; went ashore
and have great sunset and sunrise moments. This will be our last night in North Carolina, tomorrow we start our tour of South Carolina.
