    ... network to get us through the drive (free quick charging stations mostly along major interstate highways) and be looking for hotels that participate in the Tesla Destination charging program so we can charge while we sleep.

    We arrived at Lake Conroe north of Houston after stopping at Old Town Spring for some Texas shopping.  Saw alot of Texas decor and food.  Jim splurged for a Fried Twinkie!!!  We got soaked in a Texas downpour even with our umbrellas.   We had a wonderful surprise with my sister, Sue, and brother-in-law, Bob, dropping by as they departed from Austin on their way back to Virginia.     ... I was a nervous wreck by the time we got to the campground.

    We are at Bishop’s Landing Resort in Willis, Texas. We have a beautiful view of Lake Conroe from our campsite. Normally there would be large beach area directly to the lake from the campground—but the lake is so high the beaches are under water. It is a nice campground, but everything in the area is wet and mushy.
