... resorts and hotels/timeshares) is very expensive. It's north of Puerto Vallarta and the beaches are beautiful. It's away from the crazy busy that is PV and the main tourist areas of Mismaloya so it's very very quiet.

The name Nuevo and Riviera Nayarit are used all the time. I guess it still doesn't really know what it's name is.

One our trip back to the hotel we went through another police check just between Nuevo and PV, they don't stop ...

... we rethought that strategy. The weather forecast for the north predicted very cold weather so we decided because of that and the short January days that we preferred to stay in the warmth of Puerto Vallarta. It made sense to enjoy the hotel while we were there and then when we moved to cheaper accommodation we could go out and explore the area more thoroughly.

Finding a new hotel or hostel was more difficult than usual because this is a more expensive ...
