    In between working hours, I went to Bugibba. My bus was 20 minutes late and then got stuck in traffic which added another extra 20 minutes to the journey. I was not impressed. I did take the journey by myself though, after getting the first bus stop wrong. I felt accomplished after that although being late was a bit stressful.

    Bugibba seemed like a lovely place, although to be honest I didn't get to look around ...

    ... which the boys agreed to. I had my favourite Guido Burger and tried a red velvet milkshake – how indulgent!

    Eddie dropped Gabriel and I back to the boat yard. I really wanted to climb the mast of a nearby ship, so we went to ask the Captain, Ronnie. He was just heading out with his crew for a kayaking team building trip, so he told me to come back another time for a tour and to climb (it’ll have to be next time I’m in Malta).

    I find intermission at Maltese cinemas hilarious and irritating at the same time! Is it really necessary?! I don’t think so!

    Lars and I decided to walk home because it was a nice night, even though it was quite a long way. He stopped off at my house and we watched some Lord of the Rings outtakes and extras. What an awesome day of adventuring! ...

    ... at Golden Bay, walking, sunbathing and hopefully swimming. After work, Chris and Chloe met me and we walked from St Julian's to Sliema, why take the bus when it is walkable!! We spent the evening having dinner at a restaurant that Chloe had recommended from when she came to Malta in April. It was a lovely meal and on the way home we stopped at the best ice cream shop in Bugibba - just to round off the evening! Golden bay ...
