Last Saturday in Malta - St. Peter's Pool

Today we enjoyed some beautiful sunshine at St. Peter's Pool with a group of friends - it was lovely! The beach area has a natural swimming pool which was perfect for bathing and relaxing in the water. We had a picnic and took lots of photos, and shared many happy memories of Malta!!!!

Was the perfect end to our trip!

We didn't do much in the evening except get ready for Chloe's arrival! And the sun still ...

... identifiable as a “tourist”. One couple, who was looking for the co-cathedral reacted in a funny way. The gentleman turned to his wife and said: “I told you she was Italian!” And the wife continued, “but she looks Maltese! She’s just sitting there…”. I was startled that they couldn’t wait a few minutes until they had that conversation, so I pointed in the wrong direction.

    I was lucky enough ...

... in Russian and English. There were performances of traditional Russian dances and songs in full costume, as well as some less desirable euro-pop. We wondered if there was English culture festival. The reason so many Russians choose Malta as their new home is, apart from the obvious improvement in climate, the visas are easy to obtain. ...
