Last Saturday in Malta - St. Peter's Pool

A travel blog entry by wander-ful on May 17, 2014

Today we enjoyed some beautiful sunshine at St. Peter's Pool with a group of friends - it was lovely! The beach area has a natural swimming pool which was perfect for bathing and relaxing in the water. We had a picnic and took lots of photos, and shared many happy memories of Malta!!!!

Was the perfect end to our trip!

      Golden Bay

A travel blog entry by wander-ful on Apr 20, 2014

Hollie and Isobel's last day, and the weather was hot!!! We got our beach gear together and headed to Golden Bay. We rounded off the day with ice creams in Bugibba and a Skype session to home. Early start tomorrow, and goodbyes until our return in four weeks! What a great Easter ...

A travel blog entry by wander-ful on Oct 15, 2013

Today was exciting as I was looking forward to Chloe visiting tomorrow, my first visitor and I couldn't wait to show her around. Was a fairly quiet day at work for me, Chris is enjoying his classes but is definitely looking forward to next week where he will only teach a morning class - he does deserve a rest! We didn't do much in the evening except get ready for Chloe's arrival! And the sun still ...

... decorated with rich artistic treasures, but it is a monument of international importance. Because the Grand Masters and Knights donated beautiful gifts to Malta, this cathedral is a living museum of the High Baroque era. The building was completed in 1577 and dedicated to St John the Baptist. He is the patron saint of the Order of the Knights and from the many Maltese that I met during my stay, many were named John. As you enter the cathedral, you ...
