    ... when I asked they were happy to change to the Bayern City game. Shame we can't just select any live game and put it on at home without big brother clamping down. Without Hart,Bayern could and should have had a hatfull but justice prevailed and they scored in the last minute, I was the only one cheering. after the game we went back to the hotel and sat on the balcony for a nightcap and a quick couple of chapters of my book (Rock and roll baby) then off to ...

    ... in front just parts or another two band stands set up with more brass bands playing. All this and not one flouro vest to be seen! Around midnight the pyrotechnic maniacs (assume what is left of them from the firework factory) gather at one end of the street, this signals for the masses in that near vicinity to move, just a little, then they light the first of the special displays - they are very loud and visually spectacular displays.     In between working hours, I went to Bugibba. My bus was 20 minutes late and then got stuck in traffic which added another extra 20 minutes to the journey. I was not impressed. I did take the journey by myself though, after getting the first bus stop wrong. I felt accomplished after that although being late was a bit stressful.

    Bugibba seemed like a lovely place, although to be honest I didn't get to look around ...

    We looked inside the Domus Romana, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It’s the remains of a rich Roman townhouse (discovered in 1881) and it has some amazing preserved mosaics. The start of Roman presence in Malta goes as far back as 218 BC! I found the exhibition very interesting because I was able to build on my knowledge of Roman history from high school. I loved the ...
