    ... for a sunset sail towards Malta. I was so pleasantly surprised with Greece, the people were charming, the city itself was beautiful and didn’t look as though the country was on the brink of financial collapse. I ended up feeling sorry for the Greeks in the end, the hospitality shown by them didn’t warrant the bad luck they’ve had the past few years.     In between working hours, I went to Bugibba. My bus was 20 minutes late and then got stuck in traffic which added another extra 20 minutes to the journey. I was not impressed. I did take the journey by myself though, after getting the first bus stop wrong. I felt accomplished after that although being late was a bit stressful.

    ... was definitely Pirates of the Caribbean-esque. Like Davy Jones’ ship the Flying Dutchman, complete with crabs, coral and all. We found an old plank of wood and made a bridge from the docks to the boat. Being on board was remarkable. The deck was in amazingly good condition, but the sides of the boat had decayed considerably. Gabriel’s plan is to restore the boat to its former glory, so that people can enjoy cruises on her once again. ...
