First off, I have to say that Sorento had a beautiful view of the ocean. But sadly some spots you had to pay to enter the beach, luckily for us we found a free spot to swim. On our fist day in Sorento we basically had a swim and wandered around the beautiful town. In the evening they have the streets all lit up and we walked down the avenue of shops and street stalls ...

... need constant maintenance. They have done a great job.
We decide to take an electric taxi back to the ship. The driver charges an extra 2 euros above the normal 8 euros because of the 4th person. A bit of fun, very quiet.

First full day in Malta. After nearly missing the bus this morning, and meeting some really nice and interesting people, we got to have quick look around Valletta, the capital of Malta.

What is the first thing you noticed?
The buildings are all flat. Everything is flat. It felt like I was in Israel or something. It was really pretty though. There were sandy colors to be seen everywhere, along ...

Please refer back to 'my week', 'detective novels' and 'on the ridge' for some extra additions and great photos!

There's no work this week (only four classes running!) so I'm off. Gives me a chance to update the blogs. I've also been going in in the morning to download material from the main computer, which means lugging around less books in the future! ...
