    ... river… we saw deer, and other game… we started at 8:00 a.m. and got off the water at 11:15 or so… we made it an early drift to get on and off the water before the heat of the day… Being out on the water at 90* would give us all sun burns…
    We also spent a morning at Sparks Lake… we were on National Forest Service land… and we spent another 3 hours on the lake using the canoe around the lake… ...

    ... last flight. We waited for passengers from another flight who arrived late due to weather. Our flight also met up with the weather on the way home. It was a bumpy ride. Even the flight attendants stayed in their seats most of the flight.

    Lucky Linda won a $50 voucher for her next Southwest flight. Her name was selected.

    ... the nest to start a life of their own... All in all... we had some great photos, and a great time looking through the spotting scope....

    Of course Chuck and Marilyn went with us.... and enjoyed the close up of the birds... this is the first time Gabe has done anything like this and he really enjoyed the experience...

    ... looking for a motel on both sides of the road. I found one behind a building and we drove up to it and got out but it turned out the "motel" was actually a shelter for homeless people. lol.. Well, there were was a big (actual) motel just across the street and looking pretty nice I thought it would be expensive but it was just 65$ for one night so great value for money as we have been paying up to alittle more than a hundred in some places.     ... Lake and Paulina Lake. The view was well worth the bumpy and treacherous drive up
    - The Big Obsidian Flow "one of the geologic wonders of the Pacific Northwest, and, at 1,300 years old, it is the most recent volcanic eruption in Oregon. Created when rhyolite lava spilled to the basin floor from a high vent and formed frozen cataracts of black, volcanic glass"

    Played miniture golf back at the resort, then more water time at SHARC.
