    ... six of us crammed into a ranger and drove to the resort as there is no roads outside of San Pedro. It was a very bumpy and squished ride. It was completely worth it because the food was really great.

    With a very, very heavy heart we have to say goodbye to Mexico.
    Early morning taxi to the bus station, 5 hrs to Mexico/Belize border. Luxury bus, reclining seats air conditioning too cold, had to wear jumpers. From the bus station by taxi to Mexican border, 25$US to exit (if you have lost the little loose inset which was handed to you on entry to Mexico there is an additional fee).

    ... like 5 minutes. Carlos showed us a huge crab, a spiny Caribbean lobster, a green moray eel and an octopus hiding under a conch shell. When he took away the shell the octopus stuck out a tentacle and pulled it back in. When he moved it a bit further the octopus had to sneak out from under his rock and grab hold of his shell.
