The motto on this island, pronounced key corker, is go slow and it's definitely easy to do just that. Very laid back chilled place, nice friendly rasta locals, really nice vibe. Had yummy breakfast with Shaun matt and bernie. Granola with yogurt fruit and honey and banana smoothie, was so stuffed' Matt keen to dive blue hole too. Went to dive shop to book blue hole but need minimum of 5 to go so matt and I spent day trying to round up people. Went to the split which is the place to ...

Caye Caulker is an intriguing car crash of party-tan-repeat backpackers, retired US expats and slightly territorial locals. Sometimes the interactions can be interesting. Most of our time on the Caye was spent somewhere between these groups.

On our first visit (Friday afternoon), the Split was garnished with prostrate backpackers, rather resembling San Franciscan sea lions lazing on Pier 39. Needless to say, it ...

... rum punch on the way back - way too easy to drink!! They love rum punch here - it seems to come free with nearly every meal! When we were back on shore we went to a bar on the island that is the best spot to view the sunset - beautiful! There we were all drinking 'lizard juice' a bright green cocktail that is lethal - the challenge was on, if you can drink four and still walk in a straight line you get your money back! While ...
