... very unhappy. We considered eating there one night and dismissed the idea, wondering what time we might actually get through the evening. May be the breakfast episode was a one off, unfortunately we will never know. We walked into town, it's aways amusing watching the different cyclo type vehicles, which are similar to the Indian type, but with the motorbike at the side of the passenger compartment rather than the front. Day 1: Arrival @ Puerto Princesa

We ride a tricycle from the airport to Duchess Pension and paid only P30.00. Duchess Pension is a budget friendly accomodation with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. We availed a non-air room for P450. The room is just fine for a couple. It's clean but you will be sharing CR. Wifi is available at the lobby but you have to pay P50.00. They also serve breakfast at reasonable prices.

... with little sleep we decided to sleep in the airport. The sleep we had in the airport wasn't bad. It was off and on for about 4 hours. By 9 we decided that we should get up start moving and try to find out hotel. When we walked outside it was our first wave of heat and oh man was it nice. The sun the trees everything about it was just what we needed. We had a lovely taxi driver who told us all about Manila. He pointed out important spots and told us the ...

... plane took off during our time there. It was really wonderful. Bamboo chimes lined the entire treehouse. As often in our experience in SEA, food takes a lot longer to prepare but this time it came out together. As usual, we weren't disappointed. Found another spot to enjoy some drinks as the sun came down before retiring for the night. Next day we visited wildlife conservatory center, and a few other places. Nothing huge to note. I'm not sure what kind of work the center is ...
