        ... With just the evening to enjoy the town, we walked into town towards the pier grabbing a very cheap McDonald's sundae along the way. The pier was nicely lively though there wasn't a great deal going on, so we soon turned to thinking about food for tea. Perhaps relieved by some more reasonably priced menus, we went for a slightly pricier option (though still cheaper than El Nido) and bought a shared platter meal for two. It was amazing.         ... Underground River and also the former prison in Puerto Princesa, among many other things. It will also be a tasty dinner with Cesar, the owner of Panglima tours who helped us to organize the trip, and random meeting of the restaurant owner who then invited me to stay in her apartment in expensive Boracay a few days after all by my own and for free.

        My Palawan days will always be an Asian experience to remember. ...

        ... at the same time haha. Tricycles like to weave in and out of traffic, go fast, slow down, and constantly beeps their horn at people, animals and other vehicles. We arrived back at the Marina de Bay in one piece just in time for dinner.

        Well that's what the brochure said! We woke at about 5, the early breakfasts pre booked, on time and as nice as usual. Pick up time was at 6.30, we finished our breakfast at 6.15, one minute later, 'your pick up his here!' OK, we are on our way, 5 minutes later, we are in the bus and off we go. We were the first pick up! We arrive for the next, we wait, and wait, and..... Hi, good morning. Next pick up, we wait and wait, next pick up, OK you get the story! ...

        Big Lagoon has a more readily visible entrance, framed by huge rock walls on both sides of the very shallow entrance. The water at the entrance is barely a foot deep at mid tide, and the bottom is covered with large groups of very spiny sea urchins, so we transferred to a small panga to ride into the lagoon.
