... from the grill, Caribbean music playing and people dancing like there's no tomorrow. Unfortunatley it started to rain. And when it rains in the Caribbean it doesn't mess about. I mean, it's like sheets of water that pour from the sky. And then it is normally done within ten minutes and stops as quickly as it arrived... without any warning. But it didn't this time, it just kept on going so we took our food back to the apartment.

Left Fort Lauderdale, drove down into Miami beach to check into one of USA's best Hostels. Famous for it's parties, we also booked ourselves on to the evenings night-activities including free happy hour cocktails followed by a trip to one of Miami's most famous clubs. Went down to Miami Beach boulevard for breakfast, having breakfast at News Cafe: famed for its people watching. Facetimed dad for Father's Day. Mum and Dad had invited all the Plebdems ...

... you could get! Not that we were complaining.

4-7pm is happy hour so we went and had a drink at the bar. The afternoon thunderstorm had rolled in so we were the only ones there. Australia was playing their first game of the World Cup against Chile so we stayed and watched while keeping the bar tender company. He gave us some ideas for things to do the next day. Unfortunately Australia lost 3-1.

... our cruise ID numbers. So we had to go down to the shore excursion desk in the lobby to book it. We also stopped at guest services to get a deck plan of the ship. Much better!

We spent the rest of the night in the Cinn-a-bar, the piano bar of the ship. And it was the coolest piano bar I’ve ever seen. It was all colored in red, and there was a circular bar surrounding the piano, with piano keys on it! Not playable ones, but still very cool. And the piano ...
