      ... earlier due to a lack of tourists we thought we'd chance it incase he was still there. As we approached we saw him just leaving- 20 minutes late! We marched to the bus station for a bus which we discovered only runs on a Sunday and so we had to sit for another hour. Altogether a bit frustrating but not the end of the world. When the bus did arrive we were a little annoyed to discover that we had to pay extra to put our big rucksacks in the hold underneath! ...

      Hi friends, The day has come to leave my beautiful Riga, for now.       ... cats living in the wood pile outside, and a gorgeous bull mastiff type dog, who suddenly appeared a month ago and who wanders the area looking for handouts.
