Nice hotel and superb restaurant Smokey Bear

    Rafflesia, Boh and Moss Forest

... the peak. Because of the moisture in the air here, everything is covered in a thick layer of moss. When this moss dies it falls to the floor creating a rich compost five metres deep in places. This misty moss forest is incredibly fertile. It sounds silly but it looks like something from Lord of the Rings. Pitcher plants as old as us hang from the trees. Perhaps the feature of the moss forest that makes it most mysterious is the silence. The soft mulch ...

    Walking in the clouds

... tap we climbed upwards to start our walk amongst the clouds, or rather a steep wooden frame to the worlds longest canopy walk. This consisted mostly of ladders with a plank down the centre, secured(?) by rope to the trees. Walking at 10m intervals we gingerly crept forward to prevent it swaying or bouncing although by the end of it, I was really getting into the 'swing' of it, ...

... we had a lot of contact with tea plantations. Our guide took us to the most famous tea plantation in the region called “BOH Tea Plantation”. We had a chance to see people work in the tea factory, read a bit more about the process of production itself and take some nice shots of the tea plantation.

On the way from the tea plantation to Gunung Brinchang our guide stopped the jeep and let us enjoy a gorgeous view of vast tea plantations. We truly loved that part ...

    ... soooo good!!

In Kuala Lumpur we went to the mall Suria KLCC, it is a very high end shopping mall with shops like Coach, Channel, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, etc. We decided to try the food court which had reasonable prices and fast food similar to North American fast food. Oh no, I think we have fallen into the fast food trap, once you start it is hard to quit. While I went to a taco place Devon went to a burger place and ...
