Love this place, good people, very peaceful... a good break as I drive north or south... I am always in a hurry, and I wish that I could overnight here...

I had seen and heard about this waterfall. A perfect waterfall creeping down a wall of moss, little fingers creeping down to the water below.

To get there we had to technically trespass and walk along train tracks for a mile or two. i was semi fulfilling of childhood fantasy of walking along the tracks, hopping on a train and taking me somewhere, watching the world go by. Instead, we let the 100 or so ...

We did hike Panther Meadows, a short loop trail through sparse forest, rocks from the 70s Avalanche, a meadow also created by the avalanche, and some streams from a spring somewhere. Very pleasant although rocky trails aren't my favorite. We found a good Jeep ride on a cross country ski trail. On our way back to ...

The new tires and alignment made for a smoother quieter ride! Super happy about that. On our drive we kept watching for smoke from the fires but it seems to have disapated. We're staying in a KOA park close to town and noticed a railroad track not far away. See how that goes tonight! The dust around our site and the park, horrid! It billows with every step. While getting set up and trying ...

Well we left Florence Oregon at 9:33 am on the 26th of August and arrived in Mt Shasta, California at 4:48. Lee drove 330 miles today and it seemed like a really long day. We were going to stop and camp and go down to the Redwood Forest but, the smoke was so bad we just kept on going. Lee drove about 150 miles more to get out of the ...

Today we learned about Geriatric patients and injuries to male and female genitalia. Geriatric patients can be hard to deal with sometimes, because of all the meds they take and how you have to talk with them. Geriatric patients tend to be the highest percentage of patient calls that you will receive as an EMT. The genitalia injuries was quite disgusting and was ...
