Love this place, good people, very peaceful... a good break as I drive north or south... I am always in a hurry, and I wish that I could overnight here...

Monday, July 27, 2015. PCT day 99. Miles 1597.4-1606.4 Today is Etna day, the day I roll into this town to resupply and commit one of the seven capital sins (gluttony). May God forgive me. It was only 9 miles from where I last camped to the highway that takes me into Etna, 10 miles away. This morning was cold. The trail continued its Southwest trajectory today. Water was plentiful today, and the weather was nice, not hot at all, actually quite cool. Perfect hiking weather. I frog leaped today Wallaby, TooMuch, and LoneStar. Cuban B is way ahead by ...

Thursday, July 23, 2015. PCT day 95. Miles1506.3-1527.1 It felt really good to sleep in today and have a big breakfast at the hotel. We arranged for the shuttle to come for us (Cuban B, Too Much, Wallaby, and me) at 10:30. I took one last shower this AM before leaving. I also attempted to buy poison ivy treatment cream before I left, but the bottles were too big. So I didn't buy it. ...

Today we learned about Geriatric patients and injuries to male and female genitalia. Geriatric patients can be hard to deal with sometimes, because of all the meds they take and how you have to talk with them. Geriatric patients tend to be the highest percentage of patient calls that you will receive as an EMT. The genitalia injuries was quite disgusting and was ...
