... WORST BUFFET EVER – FOOD WAS RANSID AND OVER PRICED) but due to the location and so many tours passing by, this business was raking it in. The only good thing about the restaurant is the view from the balcony, we were sat on bar seats overlooking the volcano which was rather amazing.

Next stop was the coffee and chocolate plantation, Bali Pulina, in Gianyar. We didn’t know what to expect, and when we got there my worst fears were met, we were at a ...

... parade, so we left, although I was gutted to miss the burning of the Oogahs to drive out bad spirits. We got an extortionately priced taxi home and used the torch (that i had luckily picked up) to light our way back home. We grabbed some Balinese food on the way- cheap thankfully as all the ATMs were switched off. Nightmare day- but could have been worse. All still had out health and passports! At least I got to skype with my mum, nan and sister. Nyepi has been ...
