... Fun. The water was high though and we didn't feel safe getting down on the lower level as waves were sending water there. I don't know if Lake Michigan has rogue waves? Heading west from Lake Geneva we crossed the state to the Wisconsin Dells area, actually stopping about sixty mile south near Taliesin, home of Frank Lloyd Wright. We stayed at the “Shot House State Park”, which was the spot where an early businessman decided to start a buckshot factory. ... Went along the Missouri river, which is so WIDE. What its like when it get to the sea, who knows!
Got to Madison, and checked in. Spent some time looking at what we are going to do about going to Chicago then went across the dual carriage way and 2 service roads to get dinner.
