... Unknown to us, two of them went down instead of up (the direction we wanted to go). My father choose the correct one, however I asked my mother get on another one as a race. She stepped on and slide backwards. To my surprise, what had happened hadn't locked in and she kept trying to walk up the escalator. There was no doubt that we were thoroughly embarrassed.
