We had an early start for our game of golf; a 8.12 start and so had to leave the apartment at 6.30. The traffic was pretty light but we couldn't decide whether this was because is was early or the holiday. In fact we couldn't really decide if it was a holiday. Most shops seemed open but I think the businesses were closed since on the way home it did seem quiet.

... one can absorb so after a couple of hours we strolled along the seafront to the harbour and had very pleasant lunch watching the tourist boats come and go. Having said tourists, we hardly saw a European one all day; May is definitely a good time to come.
