      ... Cod was an island. Well originally it wasn’t an island but ships got tired of driving around it so they dug a big canal, built a bridge and an island was born! Human ingenuity is amazing sometimes. We stayed at a fantastic little campsite in Sandwich. It was a nice change of pace from all the brightly lit and loud Wal-Mart’s we had been staying at recently.       ... are interesting, though a bit confusing as to towns and villages. For example, Barnstable (town) has 7 villages one of which is named Barnstable. Another of the 7 is Hyannis. Hyannisport, a familiar name to folks my age, is a small residential village, an affluent summer community and home of the Kennedy compound and Kennedy family residences. No, we did not get an invitation!

      ... stopped for lobster rolls at a Lobster Shack onthe wharf in Falmouth. The ferry left there for Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Wind was whipping waves were high, but scenery was fantastic. Love the boats!!!


      Nice trip so far. Very different than what we have done in the past. We are spending more time in an area, relaxing and just doing what we feel like rather than driving, sightseeing, driving, etc. Max is definitely feeling like ...
