It was enough in Thailand and the feast of the full moon of three years ago in Koh Phangan.In the train there were various sellers of coffee, tea, drinks, snacks, fruit, and even books.I met Donald, a cute 33-year-old Indian from Trichi, but who lives with his wife and daughter in Chennai and is a consultant to entrepreneurs who have to speak English well, in fact he speaks well and is understandable, unlike other Indian who speak Indian English very difficult to understand ...

... even writing about it. It was horrific! I slept most of it but the train took forever and in the morning we were told we were gonna be delayed 3 hours, which meant we had missed the bus transfer we were supposed to get. We eventually get off the train and the guy from the travel company told us a car was coming to pick us up and take us to the "bus station" we got in this dodgey mans car who could have easily been a murderer and he dropped us off at what can only be described as a dump. ...

... manually, the battery was located right by the front passengers seat and it's maximum speed was barely more than snails pace. Still it was good fun and a bit of an adventure. The island was indeed very quiet which added to its charm. Stopping off at a local restaurant on the island, we had dinner which for me was another chicken green curry which was reasonably spicy but very good, and had a real coconut to drink. Returning to our catamaran by our speed boat after dinner ...

... beach party just to see the fireworks if nothing else but she wanted to stay in her room. I drove my bike down to the other end of the main beach as I wasn't in the mood for any beer etc. All along the beach there were large groups of people having beach parties. I got to one of the large main events , about the size of two or three football fields on the beach. There were stages at either end belting out music and several thousand people dancing ...
