... Life Refuge. It spanned nearly all the way to Lafayette LA from Baton Rouge. In my mind all I could hear was Shoot em Shoot em!! (Swamp People Show) out of the swamp. There were lots of flat bottom boats in the water. They must have been gator hunting.

The ride was great and I put 145 miles on before I stopped for breakfast in Beaumont TX. I had a great talk with a real cowboy. He worked in ND, Wyoming, Montana, AZ, and TX. I told him I ...

Bryan is going to miss us, as he had no one else in the park to talk with, and
I am hoping that the Childers will remember us as good guests to their park.

    Thanks
for reading. Next, Were Walking (driving) to New Orleans. (Fats)

    Its all good!

The usual alarms at 04:30 and getting up are now a thing of the past as this was the last time we need to do this on this run. LJ got up and sorted himself out whilst I stole a few extra minutes making more indentations into the spare pillow. We met Dave for breakfast and he said that his feet well feeling a wee bit better. He did as he was told last night and he also took a couple more Brufen 400mg to help get him through all ...

... toilets whilst waiting for our meal, but as usual their lack of smiles still ‘earned’ them a tip.

Another trip on the light rail took us over to the baseball stadium where we met up with Catherine's sister and her family, then proceeded to watch the Astros beat the Colorado Rockies, hopefully I brought a bit of luck with me, seeing as the last baseball game I attended saw the Toronto Blue Jays fail to score a single run. ...
