Bocas de Toro is dirty enough (trash floating on a layer of motor oil) that you wouldn't swim right in town, so most people go to islands nearby, tkaing a water taxi or paying for a day tour.
All operstors offer the exact same tours at the exact same price.

As people get more and more drunk the diving board gets more and more use and people start doing some crazy stuff off it (not all avoiding injury).
If the diving board isnt your thing then you can jump off the other side of the bar and swim over to the trampoline, the trampoline is in pretty deep water so you can do basically whatever you want of it, or just chill out and jump for awhile and think about how cool it is to ...

... blue cheese sauce, we wandered back along the sugarbox street to teh sound of carnival drums. Rounding a quaint, pale violet building with custard cream shutters to the windows we were greeted by the beating sounds of the local boys and their instruments. In the middle of the park the bandstand shook with the rythmns of snare, base and steel drums being joined by blasts of trumpet and crashing of cymbols, carrying with each beat a young mans smile into the night sky.

A must go to bar in Bocas del Toro-Toro Loco bar just behind the park in the middle of town. They've got five tv's with sports on all day, darts, free popcorn, delicious bar food including burgers, sandwiches, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers! Plus free wireless internet. Live music too!

Eventually, we're forced to swallow pride, and Erwin will run a tab. We can pay Erwin once we get back to Bocas Town, and Erwin will pay the restaurant back. Oh, the shame of it. Yes we had to visit the Dentist today, one of Roody´s teeth crumbled and after trying to do our own repairs ( temporary filling equipment given to us by Rene´s dentist) we decided that a Dentist visit was required.....great dentist called Doctor Wong and all is well. Afterwards we got another boat and this time went to Red Frog Beach, another beautiful beach but again we could see the damage from the storms. We saw some red frogs and they are so tiny.
