Sunday morning we took the catamaran ferry from Papeete to Moorea. Half an hour later we arrived at Temae port and started our journey cycling the beautiful island of Moorea, 63kms, with Aerofitness gym club. We stopped at the sofitel for lunch and rest on the most beautiful beach of the island... Kia Ora Beach

We returned to the ship and had lunch before going to wait for our color to be called for leaving the ...

... vegetation, like a rain-forest, with a babbling brook at one point we had to cross. After exiting the forest, we came into this pineapple field that many of us thought would be a perfect location for a velociraptor to suddenly appear. We made it back to the ship and arrived late for Michael Poole's talk on "Whales and Dolphins in Polynesia." Humpback whales even vacation in French Polynesia! Dinner was Polynesian night followed by native Polynesians singing and ...

... an interesting couple moved across the wires but G was unable to download it. Again, the internet aboard Queen Elizabeth is poor even by cruise ship standards. So, we dressed up for the Academy Awards for no reason at all.

The entertainment aboard ship continues to please us. Well, the “clean” comedian was a bit underwhelming, compulsively fiddling with his tie while letting us know that he lives in Branson. ...
