    ... flight didn't leave until the next evening. (Delta did provide snacks and they tasted mighty good while we pondered our fate.)     ... them ask us if we would take a cab to Detroit to catch our flight in exchange for $400 in travel credit each. Why not? (Especially since I've been there as an airline employee!)
