    ... cruised to find the orca pod. We were so thankful for our pants and jackets because it was windy, cold, and we ended up with our faces full of salt water! The tour company gave us toques, binoculars, blankets, and sunglasses to help out with our trip. We had to drive about 75 km to find the pod. I could not believe how huge the waves were! It was pretty choppy. We finally found our first pod! We saw several whales breech and play in the water right in front of us! ...

    ... we will arrive in Tokyo at 6:45pm the next day. The time difference is currently 16 hours. (Japan does not have Daylight Savings).

    We just spent the past 15 minutes reading about the features of Japanese toilets. Just to list a few...they have heated seats, music players, bum washers, and ...i'll let you look the rest up on your own!

I don't remember what we had for dinner, but for sure the food in Turkey and Greece at modest restaurants is far superior to the very expensive offerings at the most basic places in downtown Amsterdam. Wherever one goes,the smell of pot wafts regularly through the air, though there is no smoking inside the restaurants.
