      ... wonder where Moses was said to cross, this historical country brings such thoughts to my head.
      As the sun drops in the sky we head back to mainland and enjoy our last sunset from Hurghada.
      We partake of a seafood buffet for supper and again there are belly dancers and tandoura dancers as we enjoy our last evening here and knowing our trip will soon ...

      Its a 25 km drive to the Bedouin village. The Bedouin tribes are desert dwelling Arabian people which, although many are urbanised, still hold to traditional cultural practices.       ... set made up of replicas of many of Egypts great monuments etc. There are 6 glassed in rooms to watch from each in a different language. We are shown to the English area and the show begins. A light and sound show of the history of Egypt and its monuments is followed by dancing performances, belly dancers, tanoura dancers and then acrobatic horse riders. It is a very entertaining show and we enjoyed ourselves. Then back to our hotel for a drink and bed.

      ... isle of sphinx. Here is where we said good bye to our leader Ahmed and most of our group although two are heading to the Hurghada resort area as well and we will make the 3 1/2 hour drive together.
      We have arrived in Hurghada and have been upgraded to the Sonesta Pharoah hotel. It is huge and very busy with Russian tourists would have actually preferred something a little quieter and smaller but it is beautiful. Ready for a good nights ...

      We are safely through the Suez Canal and into the Red Sea.we went straight through in a convoy of ships. There were gun emplacements everywhere but everything was quiet and the sunset amazing. We played bridge all afternoon watching out the windows when we were dummy. Today we are stopped at Hurghada on the Red Sea. We went into town by tender and shuttle, but came back almost immediately because it was hot and ...
