        We rode 70 miles on the natchez trace. It was the main thoroughfare of travel during the 1800s. There were many rolling hills, so we could cruise along pretty quickly. there are many indian mounds dating from 1-500 AD. there was a Pharr Mound and Choctaw grounds. the history here is incredible. the treaties with the indian nations were never upheld in this area of Mississippi.         ... just chatted more. We forced some poor random guy to take photos of us, he had to take the same photo on 4 different cameras! When we got back to the hostel we made a cuppa tea!!
