... jeans. I put the outer shell of my ski jacket on and they kept me dry. My bags are a little wet though. A nice lady gave me a plastic bag to put my jeans in. I was searching for a bag bc I couldn't remember if I had one or not. I'm hoping my place has laundry or somewhere I can hang up my jeans. Timisoara is really pretty. I met the hostel people ...

He didn't go all the way up the tower bc ...

The salt mines of Turda. On the info from a fellow traveller who swore by the healing prowess of the salt, Bibiana and I embarked towards Turda. We made it as far as the bus station Fany before we had our first problem. The bus wouldn't leave for 2.5 hours. The heartache ...

... the bus to Bucharest is where I am writing this entry, again on winding roads through the countryside. the hostel I have booked in Bucharest sent a very helpful email through with extensive directions on how to get to the hostel. I never know how to react to this. are they trying to be genuinely helpful, or is it a case of "everybody gets lost coming here, you won't do any better, even with these directions." from my experiences so far, probably a bit of ...
