... We brought a volleyball with hopes that it may be a fun family activity on the beach. Turns out Evan can turn any ball into a soccer ball and with several coconut lying about it was easy to set up our soccer pitch near the beach. This became our happy hour ritual with a break to watch the glorious red sun disappearing behind a distant island near the horizon.

... Japanese, Mexican, anything you fancied really! We went for a kebab being the sophisticated people we are!! The next morning we hired a scooter and headed out of the city in search of a big temple called Doi Sothep which sits quite high on a hill. The road out to it was surprisingly very good and although a bit windy in parts was easy to ride on.
