... with out the little gold square fly away from you. Then you stick the gold square on one of the Buddha. All I managed to do was get gold leaf all over my fingers. On the 3 other sides of the square that the Buddha sits on are 3 mini chapels with 3 little Buddhas for people to go and make private pray. People also leave money on the Buddhas. The grounds surrounding the Buddha are lush and green. They have walkways that pass by a lake and various wishing ...

... spotted it behind the pool-boys desk; they had picked it up this morning. We dipped into the pool for a quick swim that ended up lasting for a few hours. While in the spa with Nana and mum, I spotted Nana’s friends from Canberra Phil and Evelyn; I must admit I don’t know how I knew it was them - I’ve never met them before.

... passed lots of farming land, empty streets and huge billboards, making it look just like a poor version of Australia, which I guess Thailand is in a lot of ways.

At a toll booth our taxi went into the wrong lane so had to reverse backwards to get into the correct one - not easy with all the cars that quickly lined up behind the taxi!!

We missed the turn off to the road the Mountain View House, our new hotel, is off so had to do a 'u' ...

we had a party a few nights ago for Travis' birthday. not many people stayed up! its was just me Victoria Michelle and Travis playing ring of fire but Victoria wasn't drinking so it really just the three of us! Michelle got really drunk and fell asleep on Travis, he didn't look so pleased by that. we tried to get her to bed after that but she wasn't having it and after we managed she just came straight back out again! she ended up sleeping in the volunteer house.

We returned our bikes but had to pay another 40B because we went over the hour. The rest of the day was taken up by me swimming, mum sleeping and everyone had dinner at AREE a favourite restaurant of Nana and Pa's and we had curried potatoes, it was so nice we ordered another.
