    From the Canyon on down, we overnighted at Camp Verde, at the first place we had ever spent over a couple of days. We had spent a week there in '11 on our maiden voyage. Krazy K RV Park is the name. The folks, although not certifiable, do have a great sense of humor. That always works for us.

    Visited Queen Creek Olive Mill today, a family owned, working farm growing & pressing olives for the production of high quality extra virgin olive oil. Had a great farm to table lunch, eating outside in the olive grove. Of course came away with some yummy olives & EVOO. Dinner was at the High tide seafood bar & grill. Just opened 3 weeks prior.     We packed this morning. My son is clearly a dude. His backback is only half full and he's ready to go. I, on the other hand, seem to have become a woman (ok, at least the one I'm married to) and can't get everything into the backpack. Back to the drawing board.
