Our trip to Noosa ( about 1000 km) north of Sydney involves, a ferry, a train, a plane and a drive ( on the left hand side) the ferry is a little rocky but a quick 20 minutes, we sit outside again and enjoy the sun and the view from Sydney harbour. The train and plane are old hat by now, it's the car ride that's a bit of a challenge.
Got up at 6:30 am this morning to head to the Australia Zoo. Took a little longer than we expected but took a scenic route along the coast. The beaches here are amazing and it turns out the highway drive back is just as spectacular - but pastoral scenery. E is doing an amazing job driving on the other side of the road and has only gone the wrong …

... Market was a great market but I think I've topped it Hayley!! If you haven't been to the Eumundi Markets its a must. There was that many great stalls it was almost disorientating. And as for the food, fresh salt and pepper squid, Spanish donuts and the best strawberries I have ever tasted, I know I'm making your mouth water sorry!! Tom and Karyn ...
... 9am. The guy was just arriving, and let us in. One of the best Tourist Info help ever. The man is very enthusiastic and had the local knowledge of the history of the place, as well as its geology, with gold and other metal deposits. There were also stories of Gympie saving Queensland, then providing a prime minister who was a character in his own right and introduced the baby bonus back in the 1910s.
