Fishing part one

Today we had a good morning walk into Noosa. This is one pretty and smart place. We had lovely breakfast back at the site. We are just on the Noosa river banks. We made plans to test our little boat but we needed some gear. We bought lifejackets and petrol for the boat. The afternoon was spent honing my fishing skills which up to now were poor.
While the fisherman where cleaning their catch, the hungry pelicans watched every move they ...

... other. Glided upstream through the thick mangrove river, tannin water to Harry's Hutt some 5kms upstream. Went for a swim naively; as bull sharks lurked in the waters. Known nationally as one of the most deadliest sharks. Arrived at the jetty to Harry's Hut for lunch. Steak and salad all round, really good food. On par with a flagship cruise restaurant. In Queenstown, Natalie had told us to expect great things when we got there, but the reality did blow ...

On the way back to the caravan we stopped at the Kondalilla Waterfalls in the Kondalilla National Park.

... 8217;t and knew if I went once, I’d never have to go again. I was warned in advance to be vigilant of spiders as big as my hands, scorpions, jumping ants, stinging trees and of course, my old friends, the snakes. I could **********tain my excitement when we set off (not). I was covered head to toe in insect repellent and sunscreen and the faintest sense of adventure. But when I went into the jungle, I have to say, I didn’t really think it was much of a jungle at all. It ...
