    Getting hungry we decided to walk to the Aparima Bar for some lunch, it was set on the side of the beach and looked just like it did in the movie "Couples Retreat" which by the way was playing on loop in our villa. We decided to just order some snacks and the signature drink of the resort the St Regis Bloody Mary. The snacks consisting of beef satay sticks, some chicken wings and some spring rolls and with the two cocktails ended up costing us AUD ...

    All I do is win win win no matter what!

    ... astounded to find that I had 10 000 francs all in thousand franc bills, and an extra 500 franc bill to top it off. I have no idea who exchanged my money for me, or how I came back with more than I left but it felt like a win to me.

    Anyways I have more to talk about but I'll try and get another blog shortly. I'm going to a nearby island for a couple days, then flying from Tahiti to Sumatra, Indonesia for a surfing holiday with Greg which I'm stoked for!

    Greeted with two Leis, or flower garlands, as I stepped foot onto Tahiti Nui I did feel rather special. They were made from Frangipani and Tiare and both flowers smell deliciously of lily and jasmine; a lovely smell to waft up from your neck in the heat. One of them had come from Natalie whose air bnb I am staying at and the other came from the Aranui company whose freight liner I am joining on a two week bunk bed trip ...
