Parque Nacional Iguazu Iguazu National Park, Province of Misiones, Litoral, Argentina, 3370, 3757-491800
We got to Iguazu just in time for them to say it's too late.
Iguazu National Park, Argentina bruinryanIn Argentina, they say tango isn't dance, it's attitude. I left Ushuaia with the lobby's sky-high TANGO poster in my mind, thinking of the ticket in my pocket for the evening tango show, with dinner. Buenos Aires, I chuckled to myself. The Paris of the South. Hot and steamy, Buenos Aires. Argentine scene. Hmmm, what scene would be mine? The plane was not jam-packed, and even though it was open seating up for grabs, I wound up with a window seat. Good luck. They served us food, right away, som...
Buenos Aires, Argentina burtonllThis morning we flew 2 hours north to the famed Iguazu Falls which is on the boarder of Argentina and Brazil. The falls separate the two countries. There is nothing else here but the falls, but they speak bucket loads and more. They are beautiful and not to be missed if coming to South America. We stayed at the Sheraton which is the only hotel actually inside the national park and very 5 star (which is a lovely change). We went on a boat ride which was one of the major highlights of the whole...
Iguazu Falls, Argentina chainsawAfter a long wait at the airport yesterday (our flight time was changed to 2 hrs later while we were on the ship and out of touch), we arrived at the Sheraton Iguazu Hotel, inside the Parque Nacional Iguazu. From the lobby bar as well as our room/balcony we have the most gorgeous view of 275 waterfalls. It's simply breathtaking. The park has a train and wonderfully constructed metal walkways that take you to the edge of many, including the largest "Gargantua del Diablo" (Devil's Throat), of t...
Puerto Iguazu, Litoral, Argentina conniemaherWe were on the same flight from Salta to Puerto Iguazu as the French family that we had met horseback riding in Salta, and in fact were seated across from them. Upon arrival at Iguazu airport, however, they went into Puerto Iguazu (about a 30 minute drive from the Falls) to find a hotel, while we went straight to the Sheraton, which is the only hotel within the parque nacional on the Argentine side. A modern hotel, it is a low, long prism facing the falls from a bluff about a mile away. The v...

Nosotros bebimos “mate’. Es famoso por la zona. Esta com...
Litoral, Argentina juanita16We flew into Puerto Iguassu, after an overnight stop in Buenos Aires, with great excitement and wondering whether the Iguassu Falls would live up to our expectations. This had been the place that had started the whole idea of a trip to South America and here we finally were. We arrived at the Sheraton Iguassu Resort on the Argentinian side of the Falls and it is the only hotel inside the National Park where the Falls are. From the outside it looks rather plain but once inside the lobby the v...
Puerto Iguazu, Argentina lizdavidHola Quapies!
