... old, with nothing on the display and a very stilted delivery. On this less than one hour flight I also think they should give up trying to serve even a box meal. We were right at the front of economy and barely had enough time to eat before it was collected. I hate to think how the people down the back went. I probably stood there for a full minute appreciating amenities like a nice fluffy bed, a tv, warm water, carpeted floors and a bath tub. I then went to the buffet line and stuffed myself silly. The entire hotel staff was Filipino and were very friendly to me after I started chatting with me. I ...

... of white fabric and often topped off by a black braided cord, presumably to hold it on their heads. The women are dressed all in black and most come across very regal and "above such things", in the way they carry themselves. On an "advice for travelers" in the hotel it said, that foreign males should not speak to local females and don't be surprised if anyone won't shake your hand it is not their custom to do so. Some women veil their faces, but not all. I read an Q and A ...
