    ... are having - so many laughs and just so divine us being together ON HOLIDAY!!!! Yippee - A fantastic 20 days awaits us!!!
    Oh And I must just tell you this - i took out my change of clothing on the plane and guess what i had done - I packed 2 left foot sandals! (I packed my 2 pairs of white Ipanema slipslops and without checking, put the 2 left ones in my bag!!!!!!!

    ... half the plane…..pens must be in short supply - but fortunately I didn’t have to fill in any more forms. It did amuse us though to see the pen go to one person, come all the way back to me, then a message down the aisles coming back with a request to us for the pen to be passed back down again to another passenger with that passenger then passing thanks for the pen. It was comical.

    ... imbibing, and gorging on the unlimited food. I’m pretty sure if we weren’t swimming 4 hours a day, we’d have gained 20 pounds each. All in all, the Maldives were fantastic, and really paradise on earth. Flying over the islands is like flying over postcards. After spending 4 days on the island of Kuredu, we had to say goodbye to the Clements. After a few Katie tears (standard goodbye procedure), we parted ways and we headed off to another island for our last 2 days ...

    ... damage wrought by the catastrophic earthquake on Bohol a short time before suggested to me that the infrastructure probably was not conducive. I had actually made enquiries about going there to volunteer immediately after the typhoon but the bureaucracy involved in that made it a non-starter.
