Still driving on Interstate at this point. Plan to start taking some back roads soon. Camping experience at this KOA was decent. Nice private spot with no other tent campers.

    Some highlights:

-Arrived just before night fall and glad we didn't have to set up in the dark.

-Cold Night with lots of condensation. So wet out ...

Several sleepless nights, travel fatigue yes, but mostly the gut wrenching fear of beginning this bike trip again. Scott has rerouted us to the Ohio, Kentucky border. I was hoping we could get to see my niece Debbie and her family. She is too far away.
I think we both are so worried about road conditions, a feeling that has haunted us since Eastern Kentucky. We have had several days of fear and worry. We were scared to death to start again. We began yesterday with ...

He does not feel well at all. I can't tell if I am sick or just mean and mad that I am on this bike again. We checked out, headed to get the local maps needed, and to Scott's wits end, and my joy, we had to spend the night again. I slept like a log, and ...

... home where we were needed. Amazing how all things fell into place for us to get home at the exact time we were needed.
But now I know too much. I know how hard these endless days can be. I know about the road traffic. I know I do not want to be here. I say to Scott, "do not expect the happy Chris of the first journey to show up this time". Hee Hee, Poor guy. He has such patience with me. I am ornery and scared. I do not want to be here. The white-hot memory of the trap ...
