... soon heading in our direction. The food was absolutely fabulous, flavours we'd never tasted before (even in India!), lots of spice, but not too much heat. All too soon we'd wolfed it down and it was time to pay the grand total of £4 for one of the best meals either of us had ever tried. A photo with the owner and one of the chefs and a picture of the guy outside cooking the murtabak and then we were on our way. Chulia is the main 'bar street, in the area, and ...

Also, there is a pond with fruit trees in one section of the temple that is filled with various snakes. I roamed the temple grounds, climbing stairs surrounded with overhanging ...

We got of the boat at 8:45 pm and got ourselves a taxi for 45 RM to Batu Feringhi as it would take us almost 45 min to get there and we didn't feel like looking around for a bus now. So we got to our small hotel which was ok for the price we pay (60 RM). We were tired so we went for a quick bite and than to bed. 15th We got the 101 bus to Georgetown (real cheap 2.70 RM p/p) to the ferry pier where we wanted to get the ticket for the night train from Butterworth (at the other ...

It came only slightly late and we got settled on to the comfortable air conditioned bus as it made its way towards the Malaysian border with Singapore.

We made a brief stop in Kuala Lumpur during the night, but apart from that, we both spent the bulk of the journey sleeping, despite our excitement as we sped towards ...
