      ... of time to lock the car in the secure parking area and hop on the shuttle bus down to the ferry barge for the 45 minute trip across the Great Sandy Strait to Fraser Island. Our luggage was loaded onto a small truck and taken on the barge and will be delivered directly to our room shortly after we arrive.

      Today is our travel day. We packed up this morning and said good bye to our lime green and white studio apartment. Got the car packed then skyped Tami and the boys. Lucas was home with pink eye.

      ... back to back, it was all a little to much for me and I escaped to the spar with a glass of wine. Marvellous! On Sunday we completed the Noosa coastal walk which was defiantly the highlight of our mini break. Matts uncle lives up the coast and had told Matt about these secret rock pools about halfway along the track. The pool was amazing totally hidden from the main track with crystal clear water, coral and brightly coloured fish. After ...

      ... and muffins which were really good. The first set of people canoeing set off and we got back on the boat for some more commentary about the wildlife and learnt about how termites build nests in trees and then build tunnels for them selves along the side of the tree so they are able to get down to the water. No crocs to worry about here, just the odd bull shark!! We were told it's still very safe though and most of the water we'd be going in today wouldn't be deeper than ...
