We woke up "late" and had pre-arranged room service breakfast at 8:30. It was a lazy day with a final game of trivia at 2pm and Bingo at 4pm. It was a long run day for me and I spent two hours running around the promenade deck for a total of 11 miles. Our family once again won Bingo - this time it was Nana and Casey!

... lively little community. They have painted their "houses" all different colours and the place is really cool. Our friendly taxi driver had told us the day before where to find the best fish and chips in town. It runs out of a shipping container on the harbour and there is always a big lineup. ... it was utterly delicious. Plus the tea (I had the Empress blend) was good, and there was lots of it. Following on from that, and to celebrate completing my Canadian journey/mourn my time in Canada being over, I booked a table for dinner in the Bengal Lounge which serves really nice cocktails and a three course Indian buffet.

... to Airbnb, and had a GREAT time here too! We were within walking distance of the water, and the cottage itself was cute cute cute! We didn't take any pics of Esquimalt exactly, but I'll share a photo I (tried) to take of some pretty deep red lichen we found on a nearby boulder by the water.
