They say a pilgrimage begins and ends at your own front door. As with every trip, the preparation is part of the journey. Spiritual readings, Spanish language practice and numerous weekend hikes have been part of my routine for awhile.

Our lunch environment was actually very beautiful. The central park in Hope is filled with flower gardens, huge pines and great play areas for dogs and children. Lenny bounced around in the soccer field, sniffed a few butts and may have tangled a girl up in his lease who yelled at us. I'm chalking the incident up as all being part of the life of a dog.
