Friday 13th February, Montego Bay.
A huge cruise boat had arrived during the night and moored quite close to us. Wendy went for an early morning paddle to check it out and also to have a look around the bay. I now type this last paragraph in a random hotel in Accra (the company guesthouse was booked out) where the internet connection is slooooooooooow and the tap water has stopped flowing. And so after 3 very different countries, 7 flights, and 4 hotels, my 12th break comes to an end with a medley of Bob Marley songs swirling in my head and memories of great beaches, Mayan culture and fun nights out.
... I went to 7 mile beach for my first day and had a good time. The water is soooo clear here that it is unreal. I couldn't believe it. The beaches are lined with restaurants and bars and very crowded especially when you get into the resorts. I don't think any of the resorts are massive all inclusive s like I had in Montego, but I could be wrong. They didn't seem like really high 15 story hotels. When you ...
