... br>After using TripAdvisor for basic research and viewing the resort website, I settled on Citronella for our trip. We're excited about our upcoming trip.

... as you will have more walking room inside. Balconies are small but at least they have a balcony.



The Honeymoon JS are very nice. Nice size with a sitting area that has a pullout sofa.

The 1 bedroom Suite is very spacious and a nice upgrade for someone wanting just a bit more room than the Honeymoon JS offers.



Seville Restaurant is ...

... personable and has many contacts in Jamaica. If you want something special, he will provide you with it. He currently has no email so you must contact him via phone.



Sandals Negril Resort & Spa

Check- in was as I expected at Sandals – Rum punch on arrival and met at the door by a friendly face. The front desk was busy preparing our paperwork. We were nicely seated in the lobby ...

... brighten the dark sky. It was very cool.

This morning we've just breakfasted, been for one last swim (and a few final jumps) and packed. We'll have some lunch now and the taxi should be here in an hour and a half or so.

We will update this blog with some pictures when we get home to give it some life, and write a final entry when we have had time to reflect. Other than that, we're nearly done. It's been brilliant.

... covered in tealights and the whole set up looked beautiful. It goes down as one of the real highlights of the trip. The food, as ever, was excellent, but the setting was something else entirely. I'll show you the pics when we're back, but I doubt they will do justice to it.

Today I think we might head down into Negril (10 min by taxi) before coming back for some spa action.

... the setting of this place is quite amazing - and the "resort" (feels wrong to use that word) looks lovely. Lots of spots for jumping off the cliffs into the sea, and our room is very cool. Tomorrow we will snorkel, and have dinner in a cave. All good! Drinks and food both look amazing. The weather is hot and sunny, with the odd tropical downpour (these never last long). I spent almost a week in Negril, a long stretch of beaches along the western tip of Jamaica. Very popular with tourists. I walked the beach several times and I've been annoyed by the "farmers" and the like on a regular basis. They are sometimes aggressive. Better to walk along the road than the beach at night to/from the restaurant for obvious reasons. Nice sunsets.

... have 5 clay courts, 5 hard courts, lap pool, squash, racquetball, exercise machines, exercise rooms, spa (with every type of message and treatment you can name), sports bar, and full sauna and steam room facilities. We spent the early afternoon on the beach. The bar staff makes continuous rounds and bring any type of drink you want as well as water and ice. ... and is forbidden to carry passengers for money. Lloyd agrees to take on the 2 passengers as they're heading for Negril as well. The two Americans sit in the back with Curtis, and after conversing for a couple minutes we learn they have come to Jamaica to get married and honeymoon at a large resort. They are quite disgusted with their experience so far since they had only been in Jamaica a few hours and it was a disaster. As if trying to impress ...
