... interview of David Frost carried out a couple of years ago by Paul O’Loughlin the entertainments director. David Frost had of course died last year whilst on one of the Cunard Ships. Tonight the clock goes back again and tomorrow we transit the Suez Canal. We need to be escorted through in a convoy and there is so much to see that there will be a

... from the UK. When we returned to the "public" beach we found that it cost $2 Euro each to use the 30 foot wide access to the beach....with only about that much space at the beach front. Other beachs cost closer to $12 Euro each...so we did like our find.
There were two little Egyptian boys playing and we got a kick out of them and their families.

After a lovely day of vegging by our seaside camp, we headed for St Catherine's Monastery in the Sinai Peninsula.

St Catherine was an early Christian who was executed for her religious beliefs around 300 AD. The monastery was built several hundred years later by Crusaders.
