... for me but I overcame my fear and had a picture and gave the masked man a cuddle....probably because I was rather merry at this point haha.
As we were with the irish couple we ended up in the irish bar and basically took over haha, we put on all the classic irish songs and danced and drank to them with our buckets and beer, we stayed here until close. Before close would have been 7am but because a few weeks ago there was trouble ...

It's typical that the day we decide to go snorkelling in Koh Ma and sit on the beach there, it's cloudy and windy. There were a few teasers of blue sky whilst we were there but the gaps in the clouds never seem to be anywhere near the sun expect for the off 10 minutes in the afternoon. ... in this little jeep (tank) we were off, along the vertical 'normal' local hills. Literally like a roller coaster we finally made it out of Haad Rin alive and to the waterfalls it was!

We managed to see the whole island in a day, fitting in two waterfalls and temple. Heading back to the resort we ate Thai food and headed to bed.

Today has been pretty chilled so not much to report, sat on the beach all day, harassed ...

One sets out for various destinations in various mind sets. Travelling home brings some comfort; travelling to Iraq turns the mind over quickly. Travels to North America and Europe are well anticipated. Recurrent travelling to the Gulf of Thailand serves as a superb sedative. So it was for me after a few days' work in the Middle East.

There are, no doubt, beaches just as beautiful as in the Gulf of Thailand but, surely, only ...
